About the Gallery

The Helbich Gallery is located on the former Zetor Brno site, right inside the Helbich Printing House office building.

The gallery’s exhibition concept naturally builds on its connection to the printing house, where a wide range of interesting people come together—artists, graphic designers, publishers, and, last but not least, printers. This creative potential provides the inspiration for exhibitions and other projects. As a result, the space is open not only to established figures but also to emerging artists and students.

Under the gallery’s diverse curatorial leadership, it organizes photography exhibitions several times a year, accompanied by a catalog, book, or calendar. As part of the accompanying program, it organizes guided tours, screenings, lectures, and workshops.

The gallery operated under the name Galerie Valchařská from 2014 to 2025 on Valchařská Street in Brno, within the premises of the Helbich Printing House. In 2026, the printing house moved to new premises, and with the change of location, the gallery adopted the name Galerie Helbich.

The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m

Visits to the space are also possible by appointment.
