This publication was created to mark the fifth anniversary of Galerie Valchařská and features all the artists who exhibited there between 2014 and 2019.
Robert Helbich was often discouraged from pursuing his idea of establishing a gallery space that would facilitate friendly gatherings of people from the printing industry, artists, graphic designers, and curators through exhibitions. However, his vision of regular exhibitions and pleasant gatherings grew stronger, and in June 2014, the opening of Lucie Kuklišová’s exhibition took place. A total of 17 exhibitions over five years confirmed that the office space in the print shop—where concerts, book launches, and calendar launches also take place as part of the openings—is here to stay on the Czech art scene.
