The exhibition CIRCLES by visual artist Bára Prášilová, curated by photography theorist Tomáš Pospěch, was created to mark the publication of the book of the same name by PositiF Publishing.
The exhibition and book reflect more than 18 years of successful artistic work, for which Prášilová has received numerous awards. Her work is characterized by playfulness and an almost obsessive dedication to planning every shot to perfection, which both fascinates and slightly unsettles viewers. The props and objects typical of Prášilová’s work shift photography into the realm of visual and conceptual play, where only she knows and defines the boundaries.
The exhibition runs through September 30, 2022.
