In her photographic series, Terezie Foldynová consistently and repeatedly explores several themes that are of vital importance to her. One of these is her own memories—or, more broadly, memory itself; another is identity; and the third is the urban landscape, primarily that of Ostrava and its immediate surroundings. She creates nearly all of her series by combining these seemingly disparate themes. This is no different in the case of her latest series, Lajtar.
The exhibition will be opened by Terezie Foldýnová, curator Lukáš Bártl, and Robert Helbich.
Opening on June 21 at 6 p.m.; the exhibition will run from June 22, 2017, to September 24, 2017.
