In her series *Spodní proud*, photographer Zuzana Šrámková presents images taken in one of Ostrava’s marginalized neighborhoods, specifically on a street aptly named Spodní. However, this is not a social documentary, as the previous sentence might suggest. Together with her friends and acquaintances, Zuzana founded a community of artists, musicians, and “random passersby” here, and it is precisely the life of this diverse community—full of parties, alcohol, but also kindness, openness, and interpersonal relationships—that she captures in her photographs.
The opening of Zuzana Šrámková’s photography exhibition *Spodní proud* (Undercurrent), combined with the launch of the exhibition catalog, will be hosted by curator Lukáš Bártl and Robert Helbich in the presence of the artist.
